Services
When you make an appointment, you can be assured of the finest care. Our staff works as a team to provide medical expertise as well as courteous and compassionate care.
Office visits for all doctors are scheduled on an appointment basis through our appointment secretary at (414) 276-6000 for the Downtown Office and (262) 243-9100 for our Mequon Office. We realize that your time is valuable and we will make every effort to keep your appointment time as scheduled. However, due to the nature of Orthopaedic practice, this may not always be possible as delays are sometimes unavoidable.
Cancellation of Appointments
If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify this office by calling the numbers listed previously. If possible, please call us 24-hours before your scheduled time so we may use this time to schedule another patient. You may reschedule your appointment at the same time you cancel. If your appointment must be changed because of an office emergency, we will call you as soon as possible.
Prescriptions and Refills
To ensure that you do not run out of needed medication, we suggest that you check your medication supply frequently, especially prior to an appointment, so you can arrange for refills while at the office. If you run out of a medication, check with us to see if a refill is indicated. Then you can have your pharmacy call for a phone order. For your health's sake, arrange for refills at least 24 hours before they are needed. As patient charts are not available after hours, on weekends or holidays, prescriptions must be requested during regular business hours.
Medical Questionnaire
At the time of your initial visit and when you require medical attention for a new problem, you will be given a form that will provide us with information regarding your medical history. Although some of your answers are information that you gave previously to another doctor, we ask that you fill out the form completely. This information is very important to the doctor and it will enable him to give you the best possible care.
Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Our staff is trained to respect confidentiality in all matters pertaining to you, medical or financial. We will no release any medical records without written consent from you.
Emergencies
When a true emergency arises, it may be best for you to go directly to the hospital emergency room. The hospital staff can determine the extent of your problem and contact us if necessary.
If you have questions of a medical problem, please contact our office during regular business hours. If the problem is urgent, we will contact a doctor as soon as possible. Otherwise, we may take your message and have the call returned to you when time is available.
Please remember, that you, the patient, are the most important to us. If we can assist you in any way, or if you have any questions not covered on this web page, please feel free to ask any staff member for help or assistance. We look forward to providing you with quality health care. And again, welcome to Milwaukee Othopaedic Group, Ltd.
