Paul A. Jacobs, M.D.
Dr. Paul Jacobs has been a leader in orthopaedic surgery, particularly in the field of Sports Medicine as it evolved into a specialty within orthopaedics. He was the team physician for the Milwaukee Brewers for 25 years and later served as Medical Director of the Sports Medicine institute of Sinai Samaritan Medical Center. He has been involved in medical education, reaching the status of Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and he has published multiple articles on various subjects. He has been president of local, state, national and international othopaedic societies. Dr. Jacobs received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed residencies at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and the Hospital for Joint Disease in New York City before moving to Milwaukee.
